In a hotly contested game, the first goal came when PHUFC player Andre Leuchter won a free kick in the attacking half. Dead ball specialist Marty Sullivan delivered the ball into the box. Julian Dortmann received it and released a spectacular overhead kick, finding the back of the net. Five minutes later, PHUFC’s Dan Hunt was played through on goal and kept his head to finish coolly past the hapless SWFC goalkeeper. The second half was a feisty affair, with plenty of yellow cards shown by the referee. SWFC started strongly, with their striker isolating himself out wide turning PHUFC’s Sullivan inside-out before creating an inch-perfect shot into the left of the goal.
At the final whistle, PHUFC were able to lift the cup.
